Question: What is 192.168.1.1 IP address?

192.168.1.1 is common factory default IP address for router, access point or other network devices which are manufactured by Linksys, Netgear or other manufacturers. You can access the router management page by pointing to this IP by using web browser for doing initial configuration. Read the network device manual to learn more on how to configure that network device.

It’s also part of 192.168.0.0/16 network, Class C private IP address block that is commonly used to set up private home network.
