Mapping Network Drives in Vista
by David Eagles

After many hours of failing to get my network drives to map I found 2 fixes, both worked for me.

1.Run regedit
Go to Control Panel >> Admin Tools >> Local Security Policy >> Local Policies >> Security Options...find the Policy Key named Network Security : LAN Manager Authentication Level....set the value to Send LM and NTLM responces.

2 To configure LM authentication level in Vista Home

1- Start - Run - Regedit
2- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControl...l\Lsa
3- Double click "LmCompatibilityLevel", and change the value from 0 "Default" to 1
4- Restart your computer.
