Very good for the price (YouTube "Landpet eero")

I did a review on YouTube (search for "Landpet eero")this eero 6 router along with another eero 6 router and eero 6 extender in various mesh configurations.
Really good for the price, pretty good consistent speeds. I got up 480Mb/s down and 23Mb/s up (my ISP is 400Mb/s down, 20Mb/s up). Easy to setup but did have to restart it a couple times for it to work.
Mesh Network truly works!

These Eero Mesh devices are amazing, we have been really struggling with wifi connection issues in our home for over a year, we have a 300 mbps upload and 30 download with Sparklight, we were using their router and we were only getting about 90-120 mbps, but If we go downstairs where we have the TV, it would go down to 5-10, it was so annoying, I even had to purchase wifi extenders and it would help but we would get about 70-80 which is not what we are paying for. Sparklight change our wifi router more than 3 times to try to fix the problem but nothing seem to work, I purchase my own wifi DOCSIS 3.1 router thinking that would fix it, it did for a few days and then we started having the same problems once again. I work in IT and I was very dissapointed with all of those routers, I wasn't sure if it was the devices or just our home wall were way too thick, but after trying so many things, I came to realize that it was those devices. I did a lot of research and then finally found these Mesh Networks, I been having great experiences with all of my Amazon devices (Alexas, Cameras, Fire TV) and I trust them so I gave this a try, I purchase a 3.1 Modem and connected these Eero 6. The set up was super simple, I just did a firmware update and then I notice the difference, my whole house now runs a 370 mbps download and 32 upload everywhere in the house. All of my devices are connected and no connection issues! This truly fix the problem that I had, I been having them for almost 2 months and I do not regret it, these are amazing!
Didn't cover my small apt

I really wanted these to work because my provider still uses the separate 2g & 5g bands, and some of my devices only take the slower 2g. But the Eero didn't quite work out for us. As we work from home, my wife and I both access multiple remote desktops and vpn's while hosting video meetings, and other bandwidth demanding activities. When working, the Eero would manage decent speeds of about 150 - 200mbs, but as soon as we stepped away from the living room, speeds would drop dramatically. In the kitchen we would get about 30mbs, less than 20 ft away. My whole apt is about 750 sq ft.
We also started to witness intermittent drops and connectivity issues. I set this thing up by the book and still couldn't get those to stop happening. Anyway, I'm sure these work for some people in some situations, but they didn't work for us. The router that we use from Spectrum covers more ground and maintains higher speeds throughout the apt when using 5g. For now, I guess my playstation and roku speeds will need remain in the 50mbs range using the 2g channel.
Not as fast as advertised

Coverage is good. My place is an one story apartment of 1500 sq feet in size. It covers everywhere in my apartment. But the speed is not that fast as advertised. I use Giga-Bit Fios and the maximum wifi speed I get is around 550mbps with eero 6. The speed varies depending on the time and place, but I can live with it. I ran many other speed tests, and only 900mbps showed was the Eero app on my android which is not credible. I would say you will get the speed from around 100 mbps to 550 mbps with third party apps.
Easy to set up. App needs some work, though.

I love the fact that eero supports WiFi 6 at a reasonable price. It's also easy to set up. I had no trouble migrating from my Google WiFi router to eero, even though I have 11 Hue lights, a SmartHub bridge, 2 smart hub devices, 3 Chromecasts, a couple Google Minis, and a Nest Hub, as well as 2 smart Tv's.
Speed is on par with what I expected and it solved an issue I'd been having with my Samsung Note 20 Ultra disconnecting from WiFi every 5 minutes. I just wish the app was a bit more robust.
The app automatically detects when devices connect to your network and can show realtime speed usage, but there is no option to prioritize one device over another. I'd gotten used to that feature on Google WiFi. It's great for gaming with Stadia or when streaming with multiple devices at the same time.
