Question: How to find default router password?
How to find default router password? Likely you will ask this question when trying to access the router the first time or after resetting it just so you can proceed to configure the router.
It’s simple, flip over the router and check out if it's printed on a sticker. Most of the time you will find out the default password is printed there together with router model, default IP address and username.
If not, go through the router configuration manual and you should be able to find it there. If you have lost the manual, you can try to download a copy from router vendor website. You can also try to search with Google search engine with [router name] + manual to locate the router user manual (example: Cisco valet manual).
The other method is to check the following website to locate the router passwords, it can be the router manufactured by Linksys, Cisco, Belkin, Dlink, Netgear, Trendnet, USRobotics, 3Com or other vendors: ROUTER PASSWORDS
Please note that once you have accessed the router with default username and password, you should go ahead to change the password to beef up the router security, else easily it could be hacked and accessed by unauthorized users or bad guys.
