DSL stands for Digital Subscriber Line. This is a digital data transmission technology by using telephone line and commonly used for Internet connection.

ADSL (Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line) is the most popular DSL service provided by service provider with download speed higher than upload speed. In some countries, SDSL (Symmetric Digital Subscriber Line) is also offered with download speed equal to upload speed.

The download speed of DSL services can be 128 kbps, 256 kbps, 512 kbps, 1Mbps, 1.5Mbps, 3Mbps, 5Mbps or much higher speed.
